summary

Dysuria and pollakiuria, especially nocturnal, are among the first symptoms in cases -of prostatic carcinoma. These symptoms disappear in many cases only after transurethral resection, which was performed in our material in 48 out of 125 patients treated for prostatic carcinoma in clinical stages B, C and D. In most cases long-term remission of these symptoms was achieved.
