summary

S catheters destined for internal renal drainage were used in 41 cases, rnainly for impaired ureteral patency caused by genital neoplasm. The advantages in-cluded the possibility of surgical treatment of patients diisqualified prev:preusly for operation due to changes of urinary tract organs, avoiding of surgical creation of nephrostomies, and urine passage through the natural route. S catheters may be widely used and their application is not connected with any significant complications.
